Woods Boss Brewing
Creating beer labels has always been a bucket list project for me. In 2024 I partnered up with Woods Boss Brewing in Denver, CO to work on a few beer labels and artwork with them. This has been a fun way for me to stay involved in the local community as well putting my illustration skills to use a little more than I would in the sports world.

Coastal Companion
Coastal Companion was my first project with Woods Boss. I had recently moved from California to Denver and when I heard the name "Coastal Companion" for a West Coast IPA, my brain immediately went to my dog Poppy on the Santa Monica beach. I thought the big bold flavors of a west coast IPA would pair well with big bold colors and a beach themed illustration for this label.
West Coast IPA November, 2024
Denver is home to Western National Stock Show, the world's largest annual stock show. Woods Boss approached me with a concept for their Western Hop Show West Coast IPA in celebration of the stock show. We went back and forth on concepts - one of which was hops parading down 17th street similar to the kickoff parade each year. The other concept being the winner, which was a cowboy riding a bull-sized hop.
